In Osaka I have seen a city cat, city weasel, and city rat.

I haven't gotten a picture of any of them and it makes me sad. They're fast like the city rabbits.

Soooo, here is a frog statue loving another frog statue...

Dunno why people say to not go to bed angry, that's the best.

Well rested for Round 2...

Or more likely neither person cares anymore and you both realize it was a stupid argument about something you almost immediately forget about.

I know, without a doubt, 1000%, with prescience level awareness, that I will die every time I get on an airplane.

The fact that I keep getting on airplanes should make it clear that I have balls of steel, zero fear, and am a borderline immortal.

My nauseating levels of fear means nothing!

Even though I know that the Epstein file dumps contain anonymous/joke reports and submissions, and from a history of people willing to knowingly release mis/disinformation, that's only some of the info in there. If you go by consistent info, this stuff is so very bleak...

Anyone have a good recommendation for a solid USB hub? As many ports as possible, an external power supply is fine, ~50/50 USB-A and USB-C and USB 3.0 up the wazoo.

I'd pay a decent amount of money for a solid one that lasts forever and can actually handle the power and data.

The 2 in my 2.1 PC speaker setup just stopped working?

I have a subwoofer only life right now, everything sounds like a Charlie Brown adult.

How do speakers just suddenly stop working like that?
I've never seen computer speakers stop working. :(

The Amazon Go stores being shut down, arguably the best grocery shopping experience ever, to be replaced with Whole Foods, arguably the worst grocery shopping experience ever, is a shame.

It's always super cool when a friend goes public with their transition. You get to see them shine like they never have before.

Seen cyclical suicidal-level depression disappear almost overnight in a few people.

Transitioning saves lives and spreads so much happiness.

Lucky to have these friends.

Don't worry if you don't understand how IQ scores work. They don't.

The fact that it said you're smarter than Einstein should demonstrate that they don't work in at -least- two different ways.

/some dude: "oh sure, block everyone that doesn't agree with you, enjoy your bubble"

...Uhhh, yea, I don't want to be ankle deep in sewage and bile.

I'm the bad guy here, yup.

Yesterday, I awoke to news of another ICE killing in MN. On Bluesky, the conversation was deeply critical of ICE. But I wanted to see how things were going on X. Surprisingly, the attempts there to blame the victim weren't getting as much traction as I suspected. So I wrote a thing.
