I want to talk about AltNPS, Minneapolis, #AltGov, and Luddites.

I'm seeing a lot of calls to block/report any and all "Alt" accounts in the replies, but I think it's worth saying that AltNPS is BY FAR the worst, most harmful, and most dangerous "Alt" account.

These stickers are all over the midtown and Lyn-Lake neighborhoods in Minneapolis. These are heavy immigrant/PoC areas, not far from where Rene was killed. A lot of businesses are closed, short staffed and/or having additional security measures because of ICE raids.

I saw this. This is my picture that I took roaming ICE infested Minneapolis while doing ICE watch. I posted this on twitter and got bombarded with bigoted abuse for posting. Have some shame.
We just saw this, and it’s a good idea for businesses to post. Private businesses are allowed to set dress and conduct rules. Requiring no full face coverings has long been standard for safety and loss prevention reasons, and it is within a business’s rights to refuse entry or service.

Not AltNPS related, but these news aggregators piss me off to hell. They take good stories and turn it bad, and bad stories and turn them worse, all for the clicks. There were so many heroes in this story, like the homeowners who literally fought off ICE, and they erased their fight, for clicks.
