Here’s a fun addendum:

When I originally commissioned the Luke Skywalker illustration, I wanted Ken to stand alongside him.

So, in many ways, it took me 30 years to complete the original vision of Luke Skywalker standing beside the grandchild of Palpatine.

30 years later, almost to the day, I, now a Star Wars author, commissioned a companion piece of Rey.
