Please say if you find anything, this is something I’ve wanted for some time.

Epstein Survivor Lisa Phillips: Everyone makes it about Trump and Epstein, but it’s about this whole ring of men. That’s what makes me upset, because we know they were there. We saw them. We know there were royalty, princes, very powerful people in academia and tech, and we saw them at parties.
You are Vita Sackville-West and I claim my £5.
My pleasure.

This matters.
For similar reasons I did away with my lawn altogether.
I'm just an entry level bread snob, but for literally decades I've been amazed that people who would spend a fortune on specific grades of olive oil, would buy white sliced loaves.

(It was a family bakery in Mitcham in south London, of all places, with an Italian grandad baker, that taught me.)

Don’t mention these accusation, truths, facts whatever you want to call them have been around for donkeys years.
The more slugs it eats, the happier I am.

They always say the way to attract hedgehogs is to "not be too tidy" and I lean into that big time.
All of us should be worried if this is what Britain is becoming.

Mainly because it is shaming, but also because a Britain that can't be trusted is going to be a pariah for talent and investment.

The Lam stuff is terrible (see @sundersays.bsky.social thread for detail) but as @youngvulgarian.marieleconte.com says Lam's not going to get into govt.)

What's really worrying is, as she says, the mood music and the inability to trust Labour.
I genuinely find this very worrying, as someone with settled status! sure, Lam probably won't be home secretary tomorrow, but the mood music is changing, you can feel it, and I just don't trust Labour to fight like hell on our behalf, so unclear where this is going to go
Lam hears "settled status" and "guaranteed by withdrawal treaty" as up for grabs:understood to be temporary "provisional arrangements" which can be transitional and unsettled if and when you want to

That is highly counterintuitive as language of 'settled', as law & as politics of Treaty guarantees.

He's lying!!! From the US: Ask him why he has visited the 🍊, Steve Bannon, Stephen Miller, and Roy Moore so many times in the US - since 2017. Also, ask him why he he has regurgitated Putin's propaganda for almost 10 years.
Don't mention that he is relentlessly opposed to Net Zero which will eliminate the Russian gas export market in the UK.

Don't mention that he's mates with all the American Putin fanboys from Trump down.

Don't mention that he insists that Ukraine can't possibly win its war, based on nothing.
Everybody: please stop mentioning that Farage was regularly on Russia Today, a channel now banned for its Russian propaganda content, blamed the EU for Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2014, had a Russian spy running his Welsh operation, and built his whole career on a policy Putin supports.
Farage is doing a big media push to deny he has any links with Putin and Russia.

It’s obviously starting to hurt.
Breaking news: a hedgehog is building a hibernation nest in my raspberry patch and this morning trundling to and fro with little twigs and suchlike (adorably carried in its mouth.)

Snatched blurry video follows.

(Not as good as my daughter seeing an otter playing in the canal yesterday though)
But in reality, forcing a child (often against their expressed will) into contact with an abusive man (nearly always they are male) is rarely likely to be anything but damaging to the child.

And of course, abusive men soon learn to use court proceedings as a form of abuse
Abuse is known and evidenced, but simply ignored as irrelevant. The “justification" is that the right of the child to have contact with both parents takes precedence.

Even if true, this sets the safety of the abused victim as secondary

I see Nigel Farage is back to claiming he "predicted" the war between Russia and Ukraine in the EU Parliament, when in fact he spoke AFTER the annexation of Crimea, to defend Russia and claim it was all the EU's fault.

I did a full fact-check, with clips, here:

Its @hopenothate.org.uk weekend of hope - and a very decent leaflet session to start the fight back against the far right.

We go again tomorrow. Why not join us?
Do you have a bingo card?
This is one of the awful but important insights into humanity IMO.

I first got it from reading about US torture in Iraq and lightbulbs went on about bullying I’d observed as a child.

I think the same goes for much sexual violence and violence in relationships.

Sadness and fear in Lebanon hills as Irish prepare to end decades-long mission

I’m now desperately trying to trace the thread a few days back from an American who posited there are only two sorts of racism - Sex racists and Food racists
