when they added volume 1 to Hulu, they took a small step by retiming the subtitles more to the Japanese audio. I appreciated that, but a unique set of OLV subs would still be ideal (especially if we ever get a physical release)

Force sensitivity was a question mark since the original films. I don't think the prequel-era Jedi fixating on them is meant to be a good thing, though. there's a reason the Council's ability to use the Force is said to be weakening in AotC

as for story usage: Bad Batch had Palpatine try to create Force-sensitive clone bodies for himself. Moff Gideon tried this as well. they're a lot trickier to make happen than just making an ordinary clone

I don't think it's supposed to be a good thing that the Jedi of the prequels are more concerned with the "how" of the Force and not enough with the "why". TPM doesn't spell that out very well, but it's generally true of other prequel-era stories

I saw 2015 concept art earlier for Tron Ascension that had Tron get rescued from the Sea of Simulation from the previous movie, and man I cannot lie it bums me out it doesn't exist
