reading goal is 200 this year. i was adamant not to include fanfics (it be in the 1000s then😆) but i have to give credit where credit due when writers bless us with full novel fics.So new rule is ffs yes ✅️ if they are over 25+ pages. Then added to the list. #booksky #mdzs

Food aid has never been cut off during a shut down.

Secretary Rollins is refusing to use USDA emergency funds for SNAP.

She was also the one who said no amnesty for farm workers because all the “able bodied” Medicaid recipients can do their jobs.

They want us sick, hungry, scared & poor.

Today, my wife had to start an emergency food pantry where she works for employees that are about to lose their benefits.

Food pantries and churches are already tapped out.

It’s going get a lot worse. Let’s continue to look out for each other.

Paypal is now playing harder ball on artists, going after anyone even mentioning commissions.

Artists, send invoices. That way, no one has to say what the money is for on Paypal's paper trail.

Customers, SAY NOTHING about commissions. Just say "thanks" on donos.

While we’re at it can we stop shaming disabled people for buying what they need to survive?

Far too many people think we can’t ever enjoy a treat because we’re “useless eaters” being supported by THEIR tax dollars.

It’s offensive & incorrect and perpetuates the idea that we’re expendable.

The UK must pay attention to those suggesting folks with learning disabilities or autism can access assisted dying with “special care”.

There’s no amount of guardrails to make this safe.

Look at Canada. Disabled people have MAiD “suggested” to them in lieu of treatment

I am begging the mainstream media to talk less about the East Wing & more about the loss of SNAP funding for the next few days.

The East Wing is gone. We can’t change that.

We *can* help people prepare for the loss of SNAP.

We can urge folks to donate to food banks.

We can give them warning.
