What about an independent electoral commission with powers to bring perpetrators of electoral fraud to justice?
And meaningful sanctions?
At the moment, the fines - if enforced - are small change for a party who has just received £9M.

Do we need another impact assessment? There have been so many & the damage quantified every time has been enormous. A Brexit inquiry looking at how the referendum & its aftermath was handled might have more value.

But agree. Aim higher. The global situation requires more urgent close cooperation.

It would be far braver & more honest if the Labour govt took on liar in chief Farage, rather than those who pointed out from the start what a calamity Brexit was.

Being European is a great source of pride for me. Europe has a fantastic mix of cultures and a breathtaking geography. We have a history that beats anything else in the world. From Iceland in the north west to Mariupol in the south east we are all Europeans, and we shall defend our great continent.
