SNAP benefits ending has me worried. I didn't use SNAP as an undergrad (although I was probably eligible). But in law school, with a newborn, the wife and I both worked part-time but didn't bring in enough to make ends meet. I graduated during the Great Recession, another child on the way...

$4200 kind of sounds like a lot until you do the math.

For a family of four that would be $2.88/person a day. You can’t feed your family 3 nutritious meals AND stockpile at $2.88/day. You can hardly do it at $2.88/meal.
