I needed a new spark to keep me meshing so I got a 3d printer. Here's a design I made myself

I definitely prime the resin! Have to wait for it to 100% cure too or the paint won't stick.

Yeah the stuff isn't easy for sure. For prints I'm going to sand a bunch anyway like the stands I print with a 1mm nozzle. Otherwise I have to switch to my direct drive toolhead since it has a better extruder.
we've been using spray primer and bottom-shelf acrylic paints

3D resin printing community what the hell kind of paint so y'all use on your prints because I feel like this should be easy to find out but it's not
it's going to be the first thing they make after a benchy
The blue is so bright! I love it.
This isn't an STL but it's listed as one. It's an origami papercraft sculpture I found on Etsy.

there's a significant print error due to a pause but everything else is up to snuff
I only used (a different) wood filament once and it was so difficult to use! Your stands came out great. Did you have to prime the resin before you painted?

I imagine a clear UV resin for printing would work! I know I've seen more traditional craft UV resin used in this situation by Warhammer YouTubers. But this was made with two part craft resin tinted with mica powder. I asked local dice makers what their go to brand was and got the same!

Couldn't leave you livestock animals out; ear tags now available! ❤️ (Can be printed with the ear clip or a loop for a carabiner!)

The best use case I have for #3dprinting is the dumb little spacers, etc. you print because you need to solve a problem right then and there. Like this stupid gigantic GPU not having the right size offset for the case, so I just printed a screw and a nut and 3M-taped it in place under compression.

My favorite 3D-Print: a SD-Card holder that can organize all my SD-Cards with current projects. In case anyone wants to reprint this:

A 3D-Printed SD-Card Holder with several SD-Cards
I'm actually really curious about the answer to this myself.

Got this beautiful model off the interwebs, only for my cat to pull it of the counter & shatter the back a few hours later...

Would anyone happen to know if Resin 3D printing has a mix that would be stable and strong enough to act as a replacement plate for something strewed into place?
is this normal resin used for 3D printing? how did you paint it?
