Dime is grinning and confident, and around him are the Arstons. Farston is on top of his head. Larston is on the hilt of the sword. Carston is following behind dime and copying his movements somewhat while holding his own little wooden sword. They all look very happy -- and there is a wave of space-y water going behind them all.

I wish so many of us were not raised to avoid being an inconvenience at all costs. I wish it wasn't ingrained in us to apologize for being tired, ill, or in pain. I could be bleeding out and would apologize for the mess.

I'm finally focused on the art that I want to focus on, and I am learning a lot about how to be content rather than chasing insane happiness highs that don't actually exist. It's slow-going, but I am finding ways to just ... be. And it's helping me a lot. I'm studying the Five Rings. It's good!!

Recalling softer moments.
Initmate, not meaningless.

Be prepared for a lot of posts with people in the US asking for aid, specifically with help getting food.

Our government is STILL shut down. And those of us who get foodstamps are basically fucked and the administration is absolutely doing it on purpose.
