I would amend to say that they tolerate embodiment in theory, but only a very specific, mechanized sort of embodiment that is devoid of fat or curves and treated robotically (think Thiel getting youth blood infusions like he's getting his oil changed).
They want an embodiment that escapes flesh

And the AI techbros are against embodiment. Particularly of bodies that they deem unsuitable, but really all bodies.
Here's the thing, it's not the bodily function the transphobes are hoping to disappear from society.
