The ROG Xbox Ally is so funny because people who actively use these handhelds know its just a overpriced ROG Ally with xbox branding.

The xbox playerbase however thinks its a genuine xbox handheld so they are gonna be very upset when they realize they just spent 700-1000 on a PC and not a console

It has two back paddles, no touch pads but the stick to move mouse works very well and I've personally had windows, bazzite and steamos installed (not at the same time obviously)

I mean, I went from a steamdeck to a Ally and it kind of is just a better steam deck.

Steamdeck is the best deal in gaming hands down for price to performance.
I don't think the Xbox Ally is worth the price but a Z1E or Ally X is worth the price if you don't plan on upgrading for a few years.

im gonna be honest i dont think that would matter because marketing budgets and development budgets arnt the same budget.

commissioning a song from a musician wouldnt be covered by the development budget and trying to do so would violate fiscal laws

tbf i think the claim includes the budget for the years of updates, but the point still stands that for a game series like pokemon $21 million is insulting low.

even if you argue Pokemon is AA and not AAA the budget should still be WAY higher especially due to the far shorter development time
