Perfect time of year to dive into a vampire story.

As a Windows device, none of this is a huge ask of the user, but imagine that someone who really liked the Switch and heard this newfangled Xbox was even more powerful picked this up and _this_ was what they had to contend with.

billionaires should not be allowed to exist because the downside of "one of them loses their mind" is simply too dangerous for a functional society

also, having a billion dollars tends to make you lose your mind
The whole point of democracy is so one person's derangement does not become everybody's problem. It's social hygiene. The fact the richest men in the West are a mix of grotty twelve year olds and deranged apocalypse fanatics is a problem, and we should be honest about it.

The lighthouse at Alcatraz. Two different edits of the same shot. I’m not sure which one I like more. Taken on a Sony A7C2 which thankfully has great IBIS because it was dark out there. #photography
Visited Alcatraz at night after the protest yesterday. Was a beautiful end to a long day. The island and the prison are a reminder of the bad things we’ve done, but the occupation that took place there helped reset native rights. In the end, there is always light after the darkness.

Today was the largest political protest in American history.

Don’t let Donald Trump pretend he’s popular, beloved, or even respected.

He isn’t. And he never has been.

They'll cast these rallies as "angry" but everyone there is plainly having a great time because it's fun to get together with like-minded people to engage in the oldest American tradition: telling a tyrant to eat shit

A very nice, if hazy, view of Oakland California. Lovely city you’ve got here.
Heading to the airport to get out of Portland just as the sun dips behind rain clouds. Looking forward to visiting San Francisco this weekend.
And also she can’t stop thinking about eating him, and he can’t stop poking the bear even though she keeps telling him how easily she can kill him. And somewhere before dawn they realize they like each other? And then…

What if Brooklyn 99 met Interview with a Vampire? But the vampire was an emotionally damaged angry woman who dresses like a punk goth queen and the cop was a luckless loser who’s been fired yet again? Oh, and they’re on the run from vampire hunters who hang out on 4Chan?
Good thing I’m not, checks notes, going to California tomorrow for the weekend…

It should be a litmus test for Democratic presidential primary candidates whether they will restore the White House and DC public properties to exactly the way they were before the Palm Beach lounge lizard decided to turn it into Mar-a-Lago meets 1936 Nuremberg.

Some Westerners are going to ask themselves why their own countries aren’t improving, take a long hard look in the mirror, and decide they have to become even more racist.
At some point the public will realize that China is racing past us in every way that matters and I don’t know what that will do to the country
The Chinese are likely going to return to the moon before Americans and it's going to hit the American space establishment like a nightmare
Outlining the second of my vampire detective books and chuckling at the conflicting feedback I got about the drama level of the first. Some people said it was a nice cozy read others called ita page turning thrill ride. Can't wait to see what folks think of the hairy ending I've planned. #booksky
A wonderful photo of yours truly, taken at the Portland Japanese Garden by my wife.

That's twenty-seven flat-out murders. That's twenty-seven lives taken without even a semblance of a legal justification under domestic or international law.

Gamer math is wanting to play Sword of the Sea on your Playstation 5, seeing that it’s on PS+ and deciding to renew your PS+ subscription for a year ($140) vs paying for game ($30). Because it's free with PS+ and why buy a game when you could play it for “free?”
Writing a romance book has been real eye opening. I've gotten some reviews & emails thanking me for crafting a nice easy low-drama low-spice vampire story. Then other people have posted 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 steamy warnings in their reviews. Definitely some variety in what people think is spicy. #booksky.
