It's the push towards art as content that's been happening for years. It's everywhere, taught in schools, perpetuated online, hell a lot of our language is tainted with it

i hate that social medias (or maybe even society to some degree) has numbed down alot of people's desire for creating stuff to be as appealing to EVERYONE as possible instead of letting themselves delve into their niches and quirks.
