i can be malnourished and delirious and sleep deprived but get me on a call with a nerd who's put years of work into an extremely extensive but niche gamedev tool and i will light up like a light bulb and lock the fuck in. nothing gives me more sheer joy than talking to devs about their tools

I’m actually really proud of the fact that I wrote a full-on book.

My editor & I carefully shaved down the wordcount so it’s not TECHNICALLY a novel, but like…it’s a novel.

And I put equal amount of work into character/emotional arcs, as I did on fun worldbuilding & fantasy stuff.

So yeah.
