Paypal is now playing harder ball on artists, going after anyone even mentioning commissions.

Artists, send invoices. That way, no one has to say what the money is for on Paypal's paper trail.

Customers, SAY NOTHING about commissions. Just say "thanks" on donos.

Everyone: INCREASE THE CALLS.
Watching old '96 CN commercials and nearly 30 years later they got me like "huh, i should watch Don Coyote and acquire this "new" PS1 game that i saw in an ad,,,"
I'm not immune to goofy, cute cartoon coyotes,,,,,,,

Just in case Bsky does something stupid today DO CHECK OUT MY TELEGRAM CHANNEL

It's basically a newsletter with a comments section I post to daily lately, with exclusive news/stuff! Good way to keep up with me in the age of shaky censorship.

Barring that, I'm on FA as Caudle.

hire this frog i need them to succeed
This is going viral again...thought I'd post it here for awareness! In unrelated news, I'm open for work!
I totally get curiosity, but I can't fathom artists giving up & giving in to AI solely- I know i have issues drawing for fun lately, it's hard, but if i lost the ability to draw, I'd be crushed, all the color of life would fade away- this stuff is not a real or adequate replacement

The trailblazing transgender rights activist Miss Major has passed away at the age of 78.

Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.

oh so that's why they call her
Slots have been filled! Tysm to those who applied ToT <3
Literally my internet/youtube experience is literally assuming more than 50% of the stuff i see is fake shit- this was already a flaw of the internet but wow, no one actually cares and it's getting worse

Again, assuming half the stuff i see is fake cannot be good for the brain, or anyone's brain
I think it says so much that in the vid Dolly Parton released where she was like "Don't believe that AI picture that's floating around on me in my deathbed" i literally had to look up that that video itself wasn't AI, literally can't tell anymore

There's no way that this is good for the psyche
Late night thought but I should post film/animation history tidbits more, idk, i think it's a nice thing to ramble about and hey, people might learn somethin' and get curious to learn more

I wanted to be an archivist for the longest time and did so many classes for it buuut pandemic, money, etc.,,
I've seen this short so many times yet i NEVER noticed penelope/fabrette's dad has a white stripe on him?????
i mean 1930 LT was already publico domain but shhhh

Also All Quiet, despite its old quirks (German soldiers with yankee accents) is actually quite brutal and effective, it's haunting
Hell's Angels is fun for the insane stunts and production, and Betty Boop canonically started out a furry
Ngl the next public domain day is getting me pretty excited, it's 1930's time, baby- just in time for the next depression! (jk(?))

Best Picture winner All Quiet on Western Front, Howard Hughes' warplane epic, First appearance of Betty Boop, and the first slew of Looney Tunes cartoons, too

Buried in Michigan's antiporn bill is a provision to effectively outlaw "circumvention tools," such as VPNs.

Mark my words: legislators will increasingly leverage porn panic to restrict or ban VPNs, and to limit internet privacy far beyond adult sites.
Experts raise privacy concerns over Michigan bill targeting pornography and VPNs
Rep. Josh Schriver, the bill’s sponsor, says the law is designed to target only producers and distributors of pornography, not everyday internet users.

the ending is funny though with zabi being like "hun you know this is a losing proposition right?- Okay you're ignoring me anyways, go wild i guess"- very true to life

KOSA just got a bunch of new cosponsors so, y'all, kindly tell them to knock it the fuck off.
Make this bill unpassable for the sake of keeping the open internet, enough of this censorship BS and "protect the children" excuses.
