simpsons added a few kids to springfield who are born this century and it makes sense for a lot of reasons but also i cant help but think 'Bart is thirty years older than that other kid'

I bought some empanadas from a street guy earlier and they were delicious

I bet this would be a good complement to home economics courses. Like a cooking skills class, where maybe once semester/term the school buys a partial steer and the students have to identify/extract/cook different cuts

Maybe you can't do that now, but I would have LOVED a class like that as a teen

People are very far removed from what feeds them today: physically, emotionally, symbolically, and in many more ways. I think this colors our perception of food, and ultimately devalues it in our eyes

Meat eaters should be familiar with where their food comes from, and also understand that each meal requires a life to end

I say not to dissuade you, but to help you better appreciate what was done for you. And if you can process an animal at least once in your life, then do it.
