Like, I know if I'm in public that's the chance I take because people have a right to take video or pictures in public spaces, but...I'm just trying to live my life and I want a chance to know if my likeness is being captured for use by someone I don't know. I don't think that's too much to ask.

I hate these as a matter of principle. If someone is going to film me, I want at least the chance of catching them in the act. I just want to go about my life without worrying that I'm gonna end up being the star of someone's TikTok.

I've had this experience, too, at rallies small and large.

I also think a lot about my grandfather, a career soldier who fought in both World Wars and retired as a Major General β€” and hope he'd be proud of us for standing up.

There's a community college in Colorado that keeps advertising a job for an astronomy faculty. I get so excited each time I see it because that's, like, IDEAL. But every time I click it the body of the job ad says it's for an adjunct position. This is why I have trust issues.
