Seeing trans elders live long, incredible and bold lives is so important to younger trans people, especially if they can't imagine that for themselves.

We need to talk about Miss Major more.

Rest in Pride, Miss Major. Rest in Power too.

The trailblazing transgender rights activist Miss Major has passed away at the age of 78.

Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.
This is how I organise my books and comics! Everyone thinks I'm unhinged for doing it.
She was an absolute legend — and seeing her live a long and incredible life was such a gift to so many young trans people who couldn't imagine that for themselves.

This a very, very sad day. I tried my best to tell as many people I could in the trans community in Ireland about her. A huge loss but an incredible life lived and a massive legacy. She was the greatest. So many are still fucking here because of her. Rest in power.

How do you say "I can't find my..." or "I'm looking for my..." in Irish Sign Language? Note that because the phrase is more complex, I have focused on handwork here — I'll do a second video to show expressions.

John Laverty is desperately reaching for a local angle to justify that column, which itself is his own desperate attempt at seeming relevant. It's absolute garbage and his editor should've killed it as soon as they realised he didn't have a clue what he was talking about.

Same! I enjoy the movies, but my childhood images are the ones that loom largest in mind when I think of the characters. The only character who looks exactly as I imagined is Gandalf.

"Humans are products to be bought, eaten alive, and discarded in an antisocial libidinal frenzy of self-loathing, insatiable emotional need, and if they refuse to behave that way, we'll make fake people" is the only thing any of these freaks believe

My Favorite Actress Is Not Human
Tilly Norwood doesn’t need a hairstylist, has no regrettable posts, and if you wish to see a virgin on-screen, this is one of your better chances. That’s because she’s AI.

Here I am in 2020 in the flimsiest, most pitful PPE - like so many other NHS staff, some of whom died from the Covid they caught in their hospitals.

Tory peer Michelle Mone - who today lost her legal case & must repay the govt £122m - dares to claim she’s been ‘scapegoated’.

What, Michelle? 🧵
