There are a lot of scenes that would have worked for the prompt, but I was eight years old when 'The Measure of a Man' was broadcast, and seeing my favourite character get turned off in very dramatic fashion was quite affecting.

During a heated discussion on the design and capabilities of mecha, Isamu Kurogane (Lance) stands tall and dares to speak the truth.
