Very happy to be doing this live podcast recording next Friday (17th Oct) with @urchinette.bsky.social and Prof Paige Reynolds at @molimuseum.bsky.social in Dublin!

Will this be a MeetCute? Or a new love triangle? Will we get our Happy Ever After? Or just Happy For Now? 😜

I also bought it and feel the same regret/shame.
AI advocates fundamentally have no understanding of creativity and my God, it’s grim to behold. Even on the days when hitting my book’s wordcount target is like drawing blood from a stone, I don’t want a fucking machine to do it for me. And not just because the result would be soulless shit.

Match me, Sidney! So so good.
If you are richer than god and the biggest pop star in the world, all your grudges are punching down at this stage! Like, just dry your eyes with your money!

If this intends to make it legally compulsory for every adult in Derry to carry something called a "Brit Card", then I'm willing to offer some high-paid consultancy on why this plan might be flawed.

Is this the only credible solution to the global climate crisis?
Claudia Cardinale and Robert Redford dying in the same week puts the world in a hotness deficit not seen since at least the 19th century

My favourite Robert Redford story is the one about why he got rejected for the lead role in The Graduate. RIP to a real one.
Seconding Kenny’s - I’ve got second hand stuff from them in the past though not sure they still do it.

- you clean up that banksy?
- sure did, your honour, leaving a perfect, permanent outline, imbuing the work with real fuckin gravitas while making its point better than the artist did himself just like you asked
They erased the new Banksy mural in London. But the stain remains.
I love my neighbourhood. ❤️❤️❤️

23 years ago when me and my friend Paul were devising silly musical schemes, Paul's flatmate Mick was in the next room organising Belong To & starting an LGBTQI+ youth movement. Mick Barron is a legend. I interviewed him about his new book on LGBTQI+ youth activism www.irishtimes.com/life-style/p...

The Guardian has today printed the names, and where possible, images, of all the media workers killed in Gaza, as part of an international day of action involving more than 150 media organisations.

Ah I love this! Happy to be of service. 💖
I have a degree in art history and one of the things that blew my mind when I started it was realising that I didn’t know how to discuss a painting properly apart from describing the subject. Studying art (mostly 15th-19th century painting) totally changed how I experienced it.

We’re delighted to share that artist Ciara Kenny has created a stunning series of sketches celebrating Irish Traditional Crafts.

Her work will be on display at this year’s Dublin Maker Festival.
