In the case of teachers. we currently have up to 10 callback days that can be used at the discretion of the principal/board for things that they deem necessary for the ongoing PD of staff and running of the school. The Minister wants direct control of those callback days.

This means the Minister could schedule (for example) a week-long course or callback during a holidays, for something like curriculum change, instead of providing ongoing PD at other times. The implication is that teachers don't work hard enough. That's insulting.

They are trying to bully the unions, boards and anyone else that doesn't fit into their cost cutting bullshit.

Nats are saying that the negotiations with Doctors, Teachers etc are "give and take". But it doesn't have to be give and take. You don't have to erode working conditions that have been agreed upon with every pay negotiation.

So our entitled PM Luxon is on roughly 500k with so many incentives and allowances.

Code Brown has stated that the senior doctors are paid 325k

The doctors work a 1000x harder than the entitled one and deserve more.
I have more respect for our doctors than Luxon
