Any suggestions please how two old but seasoned Ōtautahi retirees can best support the mega strike next week. Have own signs.

Two stern faced women in 19th (?) century dress with hats and waisted coats holding what appears to be protest signs in a non English language.
Ah yes I recognise Blake's place.
One of their boys biked into the back of the night cart and lost part of his tongue.
It is definitely South Brighton dunes. How very dare they!
Can't pinpoint exact location but @debso.bsky.social may be able to.
🤣 It's only serious when fur starts flying
I'm not convinced Simeon Brown is a real person. He's small, perfectly formed and speaks like a robot.
Two gorgeous women at the premiere of Pike River - Melanie Lynskey and my youngest daughter.
Oh no! She was always good value.
Does Space Minister sound ridiculous to anyone else?
Space Minister Judith Collins smiling while dressed in a home made space suit which appears to be a white paper hazmat suit with silver duct tape gloves and a blue and red nasa type logo on the front. AI generated.
In 1971 we paid $800 for the section and $7,000 for the house to be built using a 3% State Advances 30 year mortgage.
We didn't know how lucky we were.
A very hairy carrot - now in soup.
Was ok once shaved 🤣.
A fine looking carrot covered with long hairy looking white roots. Lots of roots.

Christchurch – stuffy and conservative? Far from it! Radical educationalists, sex reformers, and peaceniks all have a proud place in our heritage. This gentle bike ride explores places connected to some of these fascinating individuals – including a stop at the WEA! We will start by biking around the central city (beginning at Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre), then enjoy a beautiful ride through the traffic-free Avon-Otakaro Red Zone to Wainoni for a bike-side snack. The ride ends back in the central city, at Victoria Square.

Dr Rosemary Baird of Heritage NZ Pouhere Taonga will explain the history and significance of each stop. Special thanks to Biketober and Heritage New Zealand for their support! To ensure you get the best experience, places are limited to 12 riders. You must be a confident bicycle rider, come on your own bike and wear a helmet. As this tour includes cycling on the road we also recommend you wear an item of high vis. Your ticket includes a light afternoon tea snack, please let us know at least 1 week in advance of any dietary requirements. Please in event of inclement weather this will be rescheduled to Sunday 26th October.
Bugger forgot to save the alt text, I'll do it again.
Looking forward to this 🚲.
Looks like some places are still available.
The WEA (Workers' Educational Assn) going strong since 1915 and currently is offering lots of courses. Well worth a check out.

I've just learned Bonnie Doon is a real place.
I spotted one bee on the apple this afternoon, and one moth and a pair of mating white butterflies.
It's not good enough but who do you get in touch with? as my late friend used to say.
Where are the bees?? (Ōtautahi Christchurch)
The apple tree is full of blossom but not a bee to be seen.
🐝🍻😢
Sorry neighbours but I had to put Van Morrison on full volume.
I'd guess the flat end is the bottom.
