Microsoft if I needed your help I would ask for it
I sometimes wonder if a single person has ever done more harm to global society than Rupert Murdoch.
I can't tell if the algorithm is just constantly feeding me rage-bait, or if the state of public discourse has actually gone down the drain. Maybe a bit of both...

"People like Merrick Garland think that they’re eschewing politics. The reality is the opposite: The careful avoidance of anything that appears political is itself a political act. It is a performance, intended to convey to your audience that you are neutral and unbiased. It’s institutional PR."

perfect optics event to hold right as 40 million americans will increasingly struggle to get food with SNAP benefits expiring
Just cut my nails. Now we wait until I have to peel a label off something in the next 24hrs. It is inevitable.
Great way to join a polycule.
I am just so curious as to how this happened! I think it's easy to blame the QCAA, but I had a look and all the communication/curriculum documents are pretty clear. So interesting from a school leadership/administration perspective.

I often think about how I didn't realise I had tinnitus until I saw Baby Driver, because I just thought that's what silence sounded like.

Conservative individualism in a nutshell: the same people who said we need mass deportation so we can take care of “our own” are cheering on the suspension of SNAP because now they don’t want other people to receive “handouts.” They proudly hate other people. It’s a murderous, anti-society ideology.

Changing sheets: Urgh, awful, the worst thing.

Sleeping in a bed with fresh sheets: Mmmm yes, amazing, the best thing.

Experts predict that by 2026, 100% of US government spending will go towards the construction of visual metaphors for the US government
Maybe not! Though that appeared to be some kind of contract and I’m not sure about the rules there.
My favourite thing is when someone edits their Facebook comment to try and manufacture a 'gotcha' moment, but they're so tech-illiterate they don't realise that other people can see the edit history.
Yeah my physio mentioned that she used to sub and I didn't follow up at the time, but was like "???"
Wait, is it true that in the US you don't actually have to be a teacher to be a substitute teacher? They'll just, like, hire anyone?
Well, Tbf, I did explicitly ask you to paint some things but also was extremely appreciative. The music was also always great!

I disagree, in this instance. The government has the ability to pass more ambitious legislation because the Greens have the balance of power. Yet, they still choose not to. This is absolutely the Government's fault in this instance.

The electorate voted for a senate that has a majority of ALP and Greens.

Murray Watt and the ALP are choosing instead to write laws that will please the LNP and mining companies.

This is not the outcome a majority of Australians voted for.
I’m getting weary of this. This government is representative of what the people of this place want. The argument is with all of us. Turning it into a constant personalised political snipe belittles the nature of the problem.
Thanks to Murray and his ALP pals, weather reports like this will become increasingly scary and weird
