Basically trying to see the "winter" species that I just don't get at home. NWM would be a nice bonus.

A mild evening on the Surrey heath with @photography-aj.bsky.social yesterday, with lots of moths on the wing. 13 species included some candidates for Northern Winter Moth (retained for further investigation), loads of Winter Moth, several Mottled Umber and an early Pale Brindled Beauty. #TeamMoth

Not necessarily…!

Like the Bornean rainforest here…

Not really but a hoped for species has appeared (subject to confirmation).

Almost as soon as the light when on. Up to 9 species so far…

Here we go again… already a Satellite. #TeamMoth

About a year ago I bought a Paramo Helki on the recommendation of @stevedudley.bsky.social, and am very happy. Have just ordered some Cascada trousers.
You just cannot take the iPaper seriously when it wheels out Kwasi ‘mini budget’ Kwarteng to comment on the budget.
We don’t *ever* want to hear from this arrogant clown again.

Yep, and of course only about 2/3 of that for fast chargers in France...

Sigh. And particularly galling for us EV drivers without the ability to charge at home.

Just double checking before I reposted. I see a fair few crossing the Tamar in autumn but nothing like this.

Perfectly normal British country scene... #BioInvasions
A video from earlier in the autumn during some particularly heavy Pheasant migration in Highland! #highlandbirds

Amazing - thank you!
