It’s been said but it bears repeating: in addition to the people being abducted, all Chicagoans are being psychologically terrorized. Seeing feds driving/walking around and videos of violent attacks in places you know and love will fuck you up. Get ready, it’s coming to all of America soon.

We need to push for a federal ban on the use of tear gas on civilians and in civilian areas. It's unacceptable.

Just think about this, they dropped so much tear gas near the ICE center that a school had to close because it had become toxified by the residue and was unsafe for the kids.

FYI, St Paul Principles are no longer considered valid or useful, for a number of reasons.

Swooping the No Kings protest would be awesome, imo.

And it's not about preaching to the choir; it's about actually being disruptive, as protests should be. No Kings is a rally, not a protest.

Usually B-18, which is basically a concrete bunker in the basement of the federal building in downtown LA. From there, they can be sent to Adelanto, or Orange County, or any number of places.

A lots happened, a flatbed with fence equipment entered the facility a couple dozen agents came out, chatted with ISP, and three ICE marked vehicles have come out and are parked in front of the fence on beach street.

If you want something positive, I'd say that the current DHS strategy of using excessive force has been extremely counterproductive. Rather than actually detaining people, they're now spending significant time and resources dealing with hostile crowds wherever they go.

If men with guns and masks tried to pull me out of my car, I'd fight back. Courts should reject any claims by the government that this is aggression by the person being detained, resisting arrest, or that they're a flight risk.
