I like sport, but Baseball is beyond me. I do understand that it's a game that has great statistics, but the terminology just floors me. I remember listening to sports reports on the radio when I arrived here and barely understanding a word. Each reporter seemed to use their own vernacular, too. :(

I'm a relatively new Canadian and have no interest in Baseball. I hope Toronto does well, but beyond that it's a closed book to me. I tried reading some of the reports in the paper, but it's all gobbledegook to me. Mind you, I'm sure my fellow Canadians would similarly struggle with Cricket...

It beggars belief that anyone thought Trump was ever capable of bringing Israel and Hamas (or the PLO in earlier times) to heel. Far more pragmatic people have tried and failed, so why would anyone think a lying, grifting, orange sack of shite could achieve peace in the Middle East?
