I recognize there's both a nuance and a difference between byline boosting and story boosting, and I have no interest in giving it a click to confirm it, if he's reskeeting other contributors on the story, then it's the former.

Check his timeline. At the time I wrote that, his 1st 3 skeets were two reskeets from others on the story, then his own. Did the same for the story before that.

One of my pre-Elon complaints of the other app was the circle of "feature story columnists-masquerading as journalists" who spent a ton of time signal boosting each other's bylines, but not the meaning of the stories written.

It sucks because even with being out of the field (full time) for a long time, I could do the work in my sleep. But one brand has gone toxic, and the other I just feel like I couldn't fake that I like it.

And I'd get screened out at the application process anyway. Which makes it worse.

So there are a pair of jobs in my field that keep showing up; one is a formerly well known sit-down burger chain local to here, who now touts the use of beef tallow and had a run of social media posts using nazi-adjacent iconography, and the other is a coffee chain I just can't get on board with.

Basically, 2 players worth $344 million beat the #Brewers $121 million team.

A great example of what payroll disparity means. At some point, the $160 / $180 / $365 / $700 million player is gonna do the thing.

I mean, the thing about superheroes is that they always seem to leave a ton of wreckage in their wake from "fighting bad guys."
