I keep seeing this idea that only one thing has ever beaten fascism. Only, it didn’t, obviously, since it’s still here. Leaving aside fact that all great powers are fascist now or headed that way—this isn’t 1936–there is one thing that’s never been tried: Building an actual, equitable democracy.

🚨The new escalation of “normal” violence includes breaking into homes, ransacking/destroying property and THEN disappearing families. 🚨🚨We. Are. Occupied. 🚨🚨

Well-known internet personality Robby Roadsteamer makes fun of ICE and calls them Nazis. They prove his point & come out to arrest him for trespassing after shoving him over the property line.

Just like Russia, if you protest the regime, men with guns come to take you away.

So are you arguing with me, Stancil, or Talia? Either way, you go get em!

That’s why I have 3 shirts, a hat, and tons of bumper stickers that all say “fuck ICE” and the like (chinga la migra is a fave). All I ever get is positive feedback or an occasional flustered dipshit resolving to a sneer. I aspire to exude ICE-melting cheer everywhere I go!

I’m no Stancil groupie but he seemed to just be talking bigger turnout. Also inapt to label the “civil rights movement” as some undefined period when it’s actually never ended. He’s no intellectual but he also was confronting a common fallacy that the Anarchist Rulebook is law of the rebel land

Again, it is a full-blown federal felony crime for anyone in the White House or Executive Office of the President to order tax investigations into anyone.

And it's not just a crime to DO it, it's even a federal crime for an employee not to REPORT such an order to the Treasury Inspector General.
26 U.S. Code § 7217 - Prohibition on executive branch influence over taxpayer audits and other investigations

You wallow in the fallacy that something must have “verifiably” happened in the past for it to happen the future. You embrace this dumbfuckery because you are so doctrinaire as to have forfeited all capacity for tactical thought. 🫡

Nice extrapolation of isolated incidents + your orthodoxy to an unfolding modern iteration of fascism 🫡

The ‘real’ antifascists hate any tactic that is not within their rigid orthodoxy. I suggested people dial 911 at armed masked kidnappings & was admonished that no cops are ever to be called. 🫡 Strict doctrine

my main takeaways from listening to the Supreme Court oral argument today are

-the writing is on the wall for the Voting Rights Act
-the Republican justices are now throwing racist spaghetti at that wall; they'll pass of whatever sticks as the opinion's rationale

The Conservative Justices Have So Many Ideas For How to Kill the Voting Rights Act
The Republican justices already know where they’re going. They just have to figure out which route they’re going to take to get there.

“Physician payments” might make this sound less serious than it is.

150M Americans are covered by Medicare & Medicaid (CMS), close to half of all healthcare coverage. 98% of hospitals accept CMS, and the majority rely on it because it’s the biggest insurer by far. (And healthcare is 20% of US GDP.)

With all that self-executing fiscal ‘authority,’ no wonder they don’t give a shit about ending the Epstein Shutdown. The gestapo is funded.
