The regime fired everyone involved in the funding and administration of IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).

They’re letting measles and other infectious and disabling diseases run rampant, and then removing disability support.

It’s eugenics and they aren’t even hiding it.

Transit is stuck in a 20th-century paradigm: a mix of city-center-serving subways/metros and commuter rail for the suburbs.

(And too many cities can't even manage this.)

But #Paris is building the first truly 21st-century #transit system.

Nothing to do with hyperloops or maglevs...

It’s deeply encouraging to see footage of hostages reuniting with their families and to see Israeli forces withdrawing from Gaza.

There are obviously many more steps to achieving a lasting peace but today’s developments should give us all a profound sense of hope.

For Indigenous People’s Day, I’d like to infodump about the Cahokia mound. Built near present day St. Louis around 1000 CE, it was a vast trade hub with a population of about 20,000. This made it the largest city north of Mexico on the continent, bigger than London and Paris at the time!

i know politicians don't want to hear it - but if you actually want more family sized homes, the answer isn't increased FAR - it's legalizing taller point access blocks, and not limiting the number of instances per lot.

I think that's one of the reasons it is so dangerous (aside from being 6 lanes wide). It's honestly terrifying how fast drivers go on what is essentially a race track. Nothing to stop drivers when it's not rush hour

No way am I going to trust a painted crosswalk to stop drivers

Agreed. I don't think there is opposition in regards to this project bc it's been stalled for so long there isn't actually a project! Just the concept is a plan

It's frustrating that the status quo is so terrible for every single mode, and how congested this bus corridor is and there's no push to improve by the city
