It's #portfolioday! I'm presently a senior narrative designer at Blizzard, but before that I was at Bungie and Arkane. I wrote for the Writer's Guild award-nominated Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, and a bunch of critically acclaimed seasons and expansions in Destiny 2.

I know, right! I was only 20 when we married, now I'm just 21 😁It is hard but not unexpected so planning and stuff has been done. I have been asked to sing live on her (dementia) ward as music helps a lot, and it's terrifying. I imagine there's a voice in there still but who knows? We'll see 😀

Ah yes, the good old days of anything goes... until it upsets them. I've moved on from those days, was quite successful as a freelance writer. But now my wife of 35 years has entered the "palliative care" phase of her life's journey, so no, life sucks to be honest. BUT! I can still smile. Just.

It did get printed but it turned out I was the out of control, alcoholic, washed up singer. Who knew? I take offence at all but the alcoholic part, I'll at least own that. And yes, this new fangled streaming thingamajig seems like the future! Embrace it! 😂

20 years ago I called our manager an incestuous twat in front of a few journalists. I haven't heard anything from him since, and it still disappoints me. A denial would've been good.

Isolated and lonely is correct. Once people realised my wife would only get worse and never better even those I considered to be good friends faded away. Family has been the same, nowhere to be seen. Sending virtual hugs to your way.

Thank you for all the kind comments, it really means a lot. As well as the music helping my wife and the other patients it also helps me, it keeps my mind occupied so I don't dwell too much on the negatives. Here's my latest effort, can't go wrong with a bit of Elvis, right? I hope so 😄

to go at the start of the festive period. It's scary but also an honour. Music is definitely a great healer, and while sadly my wife and the other patients will only get worse, if I can bring joy to their lives by bringing them music then it will all be worth it. (6/6)

at the clinic for the patients. I agreed though the thought terrifies me as it's been so long since I sang live. I'm in the process of trying to get a small setup sorted - speaker, amp, mic etc - and sourcing backing tracks for songs that would be popular with the patients. I hope to be ready (5/n)
