For those tempted to say Young Republicans have always been this way, they really have not. When I worked on campus and did bipartisan college events after, they were very much not like this.

That’s why groups like YCT and eventually TPUSA formed — because Young Republicans weren’t radical enough.

This is just a personal opinion, hut knowing how they were shopping themselves at the time, if potential investors had known they were on the hook for that much to Kawhi, they would’ve walked. I can see a case for them keeping that bad decision quiet.

Yeah, and honestly my focus personally is less Kawhi’s endorsement and more the way Aspiration was hoping to use the Clips and Intuit Dome to become part of an LA Society that (Sandberg believed, I think) would fix their cash flow trouble

Pablo will clearly go to the mat for his sources, but the fact that those sources (and if I’m incorrect, I apologize,) stayed for more than one CFO and AREN’T in jail right now tells me that they didn’t have any real involvement with the house of cards activity there. They only know what they know.

I continue to be fascinated by this series and will (apparently) continue to believe both of these guys are right. My company narrowly dodged a deal with Aspiration and I think Pablo’s (excellent) reporting assumes that Sandberg wanted to build them as a legitimate business instead of a cash dump
