The far right on both sides of the Atlantic, whom Labour panders to, have made it clear that they think making their country a stupid, cruel, poor place is a price worth paying for their pipe dream of an ethnically & culturally homogeneous state (in fact by some is viewed a perk, not a flaw).

There is no conceivable argument that these ships, even if we assume they were carrying narcotics, could not be dealt with in some other way. I think we can just drop the caveats and say: This is mass murder.

I mean, whether or not analytic philosophy is a fertile or sterile soil for radicalism to root itself, the historiography is just wrong - Moore's defence of common sense predates the analytic-continental split & was directed not against leftists but against the conservative idealists...
