I was going to try cranberries. I also used the large flake oats and not the quick oats. I meant to add crushed pecans to the topping but forgot. I'll try that for the next batch.

I watched Famous Last Words featuring Dr. Jane Goodall. She spoke about her mother who always encouraged her as a girl interested in science and never expected her to fit into expectations for women. Imagine what we can do for girls if we didn’t put them in boxes and standards.

The federal NDP need a leader from the working class. The party long ago lost its connections to working people. There’s a lot of elitism on the left and we keep putting faith in leaders who don’t get it.
