Mike Johnson's refusal to swear in Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva four weeks after her victory is one more reminder that Republicans don't accept elections when they lose. To them, participation in democracy is only a means to destroy democracy.

Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva has still not been sworn in four weeks after her win. Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes is suing House Speaker Mike Johnson, citing “taxation without representation.”

Not at all the most important part of this — but why is Young Republicans leadership using Telegram to communicate?

Whole thing is basically a front for Russian security services.

The 15 year old girl who was dragged from her car by ICE had recently had kidney surgery.

She was thrown to the ground despite screaming “I’m not resisting”

She had to return to the hospital.

To be fair, the government doesn’t talk nearly enough about the economic fallout from Farage’s pet project, Brexit - either what it’s already cost us or what’s still to come.

In both cases, the answer is pretty much the same: a bit shit.

This feels well overdue.

Less democratic representation and little evidence to show submerging districts into unitary councils would be more economic or efficient.

Shocking & shameful. A party that championed press freedom is now trying to censor the media because it doesn’t like what they’re saying about them. Maybe review what you’re saying instead of using authoritarian tactics to avoid bad press.
