Hey everyone, first I want to thank everyone who has helped me in the past, and here I am again. My property taxes are due at the end of the month. The bill is about 1500 and I have 900. I really need help getting that last bit ASAP. Thanks for any help or sharing the link.

Actually, this might be the right year to finally look at the "Silent Night Deadly Night" remake from 2012.

It's been 15 years since I looked at the franchise, and with the new new remake coming out...

Trying to figure out what my shitty Christmas movie review is going to be this year.

I can tell you what movie I'm reviewing for Trisk in February of 2017, but can't tell you what it is in two months.

So it goes.

All this discourse today about transgender being bourgeois is *very* funny to me, personally.

Y'all like progress pictures? I don't know. Having a rough afternoon, need some dopamine please.
A pencil sketch of the Constructicon Scrapper The inked version of the Scrapper sketch I just posted. Look at that, we have some colors on the Scrapper sketch. Finished product. We have an ink and marker drawing of the Constructicon Scrapper, as he was seen on the original G1 toy packaging.

Amanda's videos are one of the few things keeping me sane right now.

Amanda Nelson does a quick fire of 47's losses for the week so far! And oh boy, does she nail it!

A SPOTIFY PLAYLIST from JF. Over the years a few songs have turned my head. The sound, the sonics, the arrangement, the impact of the ideas involved--these tracks HIT ME harder than songs. Kinda in a timeline, hardly complete-here's some singular songs... open.spotify.com/playlist/75D...

How do I explain to offline people that my favorite Japanese mascot said "we can only be liberated from queer oppression if we are truly seen as human" and then started wielding fireworks like a rocket launcher on the side of a mountain without sounding like I've totally lost it?

Chiitan forever

Chiitan has a dream.
I hope that one day the term LGBT will become a thing of the past.
I will continue to spread my message until we live in a world where everyone can love freely and is free from persecution and discrimination.
Until then, let's all support each other🤍

COMIC: Sword and Sorcery
PANEL 1: ARTHUR, a yellow duck, runs up to SHELDON, a ten year old boy with large glasses, laying in the grass. In ARTHUR’s mouth he holds a book.
ARTHUR: I got you a new fantasy book att he Library.
SHELDON: Ooo! What is it?

PANEL 2: ARTHUR has put the book down, while SHELDON sits up, annoyed.
ARTHUR: Does it even matter? You’ll read ANY sword ’n sorcery book.
SHELDON: How insulting! You think I’ll take any ol’ fantasy book you hand me? Whether or not it’s good?

PANEL 3: ARTHUR stands on one leg as he sings his respond. SHELDON stops his train of thought.
ARTHUR: [music notes] it has a maaaaap [music notes] of all the little kingdoms

PANEL 4: ARTHUR stands quietly, amused, as SHELDON, eyes dilated, goes nose-deep in the book. No text.

Cyclops from the X-Men, approving of Nintendo's Virtual Boy. Cyclops can only see in red, and the Virtual Boy's primary color is red. A good match!

One of my favourite zombie stories, and I *THINK* it was one of the first to use cordyceps as inspiration.

I really liked seeing close up and personal look at someone documenting their descent into zombie-ism.

Pretty Dead (2013)
TMDB score 39%

After killing and cannibalizing several men and being found unfit for trial, Regina Stevens desperately tried to convince her psychiatric caregivers that she wasn't mentally ill, but was in fact slowly becoming a real life zombie.

I don't know why Youtube decided to put this in front of me after not having thought of it for years.

But I'm definitely not mad.

To be fair, we memorized only the most important numbers. Otherwise we had massive books in the kitchen that had all the numbers in our area printed in them.

And for personal numbers, we had smaller books we wrote them down in.

If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.
Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?
