The wealth of the 10 richest Americans surged $698B in the past year.

Trump’s tax handouts to billionaires and cuts to health care will only make inequality worse.

We need an economy that works for everyone – not one that works for the 1% and hangs everyone else out to dry.

There were 13 elections last night for a statewide office.

Democrats swept all 13.

That’s 1 in NJ. 3 in VA. 2 in GA. And 7 in PA (all judges, retention and regular).

They won 12 of the 13 races by double-digits, with margins up to 24%. The only other race, the tightest, they won by 6%.
Omg 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂 😹
If the sub didn’t split, you must acquit!
Defense begins, “This case, ladies and gentlemen, is about a sandwich. A sandwich that according to Agent Lairmore somehow both exploded on his chest in a spray of mustard and onions but also landed intact on the ground still in its Subway wrapper.”
Awesome 💖
The majority of Americans are good. We have heart. We have compassion. When we see others struggle, we want to lend a hand.

For too long, we’ve been divided and pitted against each other by those who crave obscene wealth and power.

Let’s change that. One election at a time.
Also dont think you have a chance against a popular mayor because you're the psychopath vp's half brother
If your brother is JD Vance, don't ask him for his endorsement if you want to become mayor of Cincinnati. Also chance your name.
In other words, bullshit
The strong consensus of observers, random people in both states, journalists, and pollsters was that Spanberger was running a strong race against a bad candidate and Sherrill was running a lackluster race against a pretty good candidate, but the results don’t really seem to bear that out so much.

From Virginia to New Jersey to Georgia to Mississippi, Democrats dominated across the country last night.

Republicans keep pretending everything’s fine and that they can just call us socialists. The real story isn’t New York City. It’s voters rejecting extremism, demanding action on cost of living

This is Adelita Grijalva. She was elected 43 days ago.

Republicans still refuse to swear her in because she is the final vote needed to release the Epstein Files.

One of the big ones.
The Illinois legislature had passed the “Illinois Bivens Act,” allowing people to sue ICE agents in state court. Just waiting for Pritzker’s signature.

Indicating low IQ
I like it when he blurts out the truth about the Republican goal of subverting the will of the American majority.
Trump: "They're gonna make DC a state and they're gonna make Puerto Rico a state. So now they pick up two states, four senators. They're gonna pick up electoral votes. It's gonna be a very, very bad situation. Now, if we do what I'm saying, they'll most likely never obtain power."

OK, as promised, here's my thread about the links between tear gas/pepper spray and the arms trade and gun industry.

Accepting the 1936 nomination, FDR made a speech the language of which Zohran Mamdani mirrored last night:

“These economic royalists complain that we seek to overthrow the institutions of America. What they really complain of is that we seek to take away their power.“

This is Democratic language.
