It’s very true. Expensive kit, though, so it won’t be everywhere. I’m going to a small rural rally and I’m not gonna worry.

It’s a known fact that IMSI catchers, aka Stingrays, have been deployed by ICE. Their purpose is to identify cell phones in the area. If you are worried you’ll end up on a list (not an outlandish fear) leave your phone at home.
