Yes?! This has been happening constantly since it updated. It's so annoying.
I'm, "learned to read by pretending to faint in the room where men were reading aloud" and then followed along 😂
It was a game changer! Loved not having to think about that.
I used calendly for this purpose in recent projects. The paid version has more customizable features. It auto generated unique zoom links, sent calendar invites, and I even set it up to send reminder messages the day before.
My mom adopted two puppies from the same litter almost 2 years ago. She's had dogs her entire adult life, but I think this has been her most difficult animal raising experience. They're sweet dogs (when they're chill) but way more tuned in to each other than they are to people.

I am teaching my phd writing workshop course this quarter, question: are there any words/phrases said to you by an advisor/mentor that stuck with you, were memorable, or particularly helpful? If so please reply below!

Unsolicited writing advice, no. 96: Nothing you write is ever wasted. It’s all part of your training. That’s why you should never feel bad about the work you cut, or the hours you spend on work that stays unpublished. Every part of the process makes you a stronger writer.

AERA has just learned that all restricted-use NCES data licenses will be cancelled, possibly as early as March 20. We urgently request that all AERA members and others in the research community with restricted-use licenses take these two actions: www.aera.net/Research-Pol...

In the piece below, I talk a lot about mass messaging (posters, stickers, etc.) to keep the focus not just on enmity towards Trump and Musk but the impact of their actions. In case it's helpful, I put together some examples! Not perfect, but they get the job done (feel free to steal/share)

For a photo op & a bragging media post, Trump minions at the USACoE have thrown away millions of gals of #water farmers were relying on for later this year. This water will not be captured, will not be useful for cities or farms or firefighting. It is now lost.

Acting on Trump's order, federal officials opened up two California dams
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers just opened up two California dams. A spokesperson says the flows are 'controlled' and being coordinated with local officials.

Hello friends! Any info on writing accountability groups that are open to new members?
I'm so, so sorry Berna
My heart aches. This is Eaton Canyon, which is on fire right now. I am grateful that we are not currently in the evacuation zone, and it's so hard to do anything but mourn today as the wilderness that so often replenishes me is on fire. My thoughts are with all the people impacted by the LA fires.
I have been talking more with my team lately about pausing to notice things we are grateful for or that bring us joy. Today, that was an evening walk in the foothills.
Working on a paper just doesn't feel important by comparison...Sending care to you and your loved ones ❤️
Got a new rug for the home office today and the cat is *loving* it. I think we'll both enjoy the space a bit more now, Jasmine for sure once she's gotten her smell thoroughly rubbed into the carpet.
I've done this with my graduate students, too! I will also ask them to do this with their own work if the organization is unclear or needs improvement. Has been so helpful!
Please don't tell me it's "write every day" 🙈
Oof, yes, this is the week 😭
Godspeed! I haven't been able to convince myself to take the plunge today. I suppose there's always tomorrow 🫠
Warm weather calls for hikes! And, there were so many good views today!

Crowdsourcing this one...

Anyone know of an implementation science tool/rubric that you can use for iteratively improving a pilot intervention?
