So bsky, I am currently obsessed with the incremental resource generation idle game "Exponential Idle" (also loving "Antimatter Dimensions"), can anyone recommend other idle games that play similarly to Exponential Idle (no "big penalty" for ignoring it for a while mainly)?
Thanks!
Been keeping an eye on this since I saw it on itch!
Congrats and looking forward to this one for sure!

What kinda game is this?

Here's a 39 second intro to the game we're lovingly developing!

I don't write full adventures, ever, too much can change when I'm running a game how I tend to run them.

I think being able to easily incorporate already-published materials is only important if the game itself is more just "alternate rules" instead of its own self-contained thing.

Some of the biggest stories come from the smallest packages.

What's a micro-RPG, one-page #TTRPG, or a #zine game that delivered an experience way bigger and more memorable than its tiny size would ever suggest? We NEED to hear all about the tiny titan that gave you an epic evening!

v0.5.0 of atex is out now!
some breaking changes with `Atex.XRPC.Client` being renamed to `Atex.XRPC.LoginClient` and `Atex.HTTP` has been ditched, and now we have OAuth support and a new `Atex.XRPC.OAuthClient` for acting as an authenticated user!

This is exactly what I would do too. I would stare at the art and the flavor text endlessly, looking at them and reading them over and over again, imagining all kinds of things. I still remember the cards that came in my first pack and the text on some of them.

Now it's like oh look spiderman.
when i was a small child i would save up to buy booster packs of magic the gathering just to stare at the card art. it was all so cool, there was such a fascinating world being depicted here and a narrative expressed purely through little quotes and pictures of cool stuff

now it's just collabslop

Let's celebrate the unsung heroes of utility! We've all fought poorly organized rulebooks, frantically flipping.

Which #TTRPG book is the complete opposite: an absolute masterclass in usability? The one where the information is so intuitive, it's always right where you need it to be.
If anything it's easier than ever (just recently got back on a Fedora-based gaming distro myself), the most "difficult" step for windows users tends to be the "boot into the bios to boot off a usb" part.
This!

At the end of this, it's entirely possible that every single NPC in my game is going to have a slightly different variation of how they make decisions.

With every possible option I have built, there are well over a hundred variations (though some aren't very useful) and I'm not close to done yet.
Both Steam games from this dev are absolutely amazing puzzle platformers!

When playing a TTRPG, every location should be tied to the world in some way.

They should have a purpose. That’s one of the core foundation in Voidlight.

People gotta stop getting offended and upset by other people’s ‘opinions.” It’s literally someone’s opinion not a fact.

You are entitled to your opinions as much as others are entitled to theirs. A hard lesson to learn, but it is a fact at the end of the day. Don’t sweat it. 🙏🏻

is there a sneak peak somewhere?
NGL my ideas right now lean more towards "stupid fast" resolution systems, but Iron Core's nuance and depth just scratches *something* so very right in my brain!
