I believe that China purposefully not buying our Soybeans, and causing difficulty for our Soybean Farmers, is an Economically Hostile Act. We are considering terminating business with China having to do with Cooking Oil, and other elements of Trade, as retribution. As an example, we can easily produce Cooking Oil ourselves, we don't need to purchase it from China.

"Positive feedback loop" just means a loop that is self-reinforcing and will amplify itself over time (as opposed to a "negative feedback loop" which is self-regulating and will tend towards a fixed level of activity over time). The terms don't imply if a feedback loop is 'good' or 'bad'

What jargon does media get wrong in a way that's jarring for you?

"Stat" doesn't just means fast, it means "there is a life-threatening circumstance and I need this to solve it." Nothing in a morgue is 'stat,' just 'asap.'

On a ship, "aye" means "yes." "Aye-aye" means "heard, and I will comply."
