Some of the most remarkable lost artefacts from the ancient world were the titanic wrecks of the Nemi ships, built for a Roman emperor.

In their first-century heyday they held gardens, palaces and baths in a floating wonderland. But barely a decade after their recovery, they were lost forever.
Also, it's well written and the developer is cool 🙂
That's awesome dude, congrats! 🥳
I know what defamation requires; I am a lawyer.

Other fun fact 1st Am fact, btw: it's not an absolute bar. Laws challenged under it are reviewed under strict scrutiny, but can survive if narrowly tailored to a compelling interest.
Did you know? Defamation law is a centuries-old carve-out from First Amendment protection wherein people are punished for publicly lying

None, tbh; Fire Emblem units are talked about to death!

Now, what about a Fire Emblem-style game where you can create your own units and watch them dynamically interact, build relationships, and grow? This, IMO, deserves more attention 😉 store.steampowered.com/app/1267210/...
(I do like the review itself too, though 😅)
I love this review not because of the review itself, but because of the hours played. Wow! 🤯
All right, I'm officially taking a crack at live-streaming myself painting digital art! Gonna start Sunday at 2 PM Central Time; come say hi, ask questions...I may even take a request or two. 😉

Except that the iPhone was actually good at it; didn't really replace thumbs people on the other end of a call said with fabrications 33% of the time
Heck, I could make it work with only a meager million! I'm a *bargain*
Like AI, I too probably just need a few more years and several billion dollars to become market viable

By way of analogy: suppose you're writing about a person reading a book. Would you call them a "reader," or would you call them "bibliophile" or "bookworm"? To me, "reader" is superior because it doesn't assume anything about the person reading.
"Player" is very clear; it's the one who is playing. "Gamer," on the other hand...setting aside the connotations of the term, it implies that you're talking about a hobbyist--and you don't actually know if the person playing your game plays games on the regular! So it's "player" for me.
Fellow devs

Do you use "players" or "gamers" when you talk about the people who will be experiencing your game?

I just realized I've never used the term "gamers" at work. But I do notice the term being very prevalent with content creators?

It's an.. interesting lens.
I use players. To me, a player is literally "the one who is playing," whereas "gamer" implies someone who plays games on a regular basis. A gamer can be a player, obviously, but a player isn't necessarily a gamer!
