Imagining a "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" scenario where, instead of using lights and sound to communicate with the aliens, the government calls in Takumi Fujiwara to do sick drifts in his Toyota AE86.
Takumi Fujiwara, elite drift king and the "Ghost of Akina" casually leans against the hood of his panda hachi-roku, hands in the pouch of his extremely '90s hoodie.

pirating is a spectrum. Theres times where its approriate and times its fucking annoying.

Pirating from dipshit corporations or things that just dont exist for sale anymore? Thats fine for the most part.

Pirating from indie creators who barely make a few bucks off their sales? Is major dipshit
Exactly this. The latest one has been the Wowhawk/Goshawk pun and it blew my tiny little mind.
My favourite thing about being a Pratchett fan is sharing moments in the Reddit sub where we just got the joke after decades of rereads

"More ads" is literally the only idea these people have to make money. Eventually people are just going to stop watching TV because the whole experience has become too miserable.
With legacy pay TV providers already dealing with dwindling subscriptions, the introduction of new types of ads risks making DirecTV less appealing as well—and it’s likely that things won’t end there.
DirecTV screensavers will show AI-generated ads with your face in 2026
Like other companies with streaming businesses, DirecTV is leaning into ads more.
