And trust that my shit is always going to get broken into w/ or w/o tents, this is mpls, theres no private property as much as i hate it, my concerns w/ encampments arent a problem in a location where the city continually makes them move everyday, soo much money

I live over here, they are off hiawatha next to a highway wall, no where near homes, businesses, or children, STOP MOVING THIS & WASTING MY MONEY,
Its the best case scenario for tenting, who cares that suburban ppl see it driving home, make more shelter beds w/ 2 person rooms 2/2

yes, as a renter in ward 7 in a neighborhood with lots of social issues, nothing addresses my concerns about material conditions here quite like a city councilmember pledging to respect CEOs. that is how they show they care about me!

There was a man at the cub foods on lake taking photos of kumas dad and when he confronted him the guy started screaming that alex was following him, the guy said lets go to the cops and when they were about to get there the guy ran away calling him “hispanic”

And then on the other end, i have kids just trying to get into a shelter…. Children, not adults, children, who are actually homeless and actively in dv situations…. So plz, support your local orgs financially when fundraising comes around, you can actually count on those going to targeted plans

Im once again reminding ppl not to kick their kids out at 18 bc they cannot afford rent no matter the job they currently have & should not be doing the eviction dance multiple times a year bc programs dont have funding anymore, covid spending is gone. Or ppl need to get roommates, this is exhausting

One frustrating thing about having a lot of community services is that some ppl think theres a magic button to solve a problem, like they will find a program to fix it & we have to keep searching, but really the answer is to start budgeting and work on paying the problem down, then it spirals…
