I keep thinking about how Andrew is maybe the biggest living face of the Epstein files, and how there is so much more that he knows and is not saying about the whole enterprise - and how he has less and less incentive to protect it. Guiffre’s memoir is going to hit the royal family like a nuke.

UK economic growth model is fatally flawed.

It assumes that rising inequalities and impoverishing the masses will lead to economic growth.

Squeezed low/middle income households lack resources, can't aid growth.

The next budget needs to be judged on how it helps the bottom 50% of people.

In the UK, we have a government who will complain about peaceful protests taking up valuable police resources while simultaneously complaining that the police shouldn't ban far right football hooligans with a history of violence and disruption from attending a match.
