There are many things to hate about Ben Gvir, but something I think about with re: Thunberg is that this guy who acts so tough with a young woman behind bars has never served in the IDF (because he was a terrorist!). Like many settlers, he is quite content for other people to face bullets for him.

lol I mean, there's...a lot going on, more than I think I can do justice to on a microblogging site. I'm actually not a huge fan of Never Turn Back, though it's certainly a place to start. I really like Joel Andreas on this specific question of technocracy in the post-Mao era.

I am not convinced, unfortunately, that the average Dem primary voter understands that a Gavin or a Mayor Pete is not a candidate who represents resistance. But yeah, I just do not think they will be able to bully centrists into dropping out. Gavin isn't going to not run bc Kamala is this time.

It's too early to get into 2028, obviously, but as it stands right now, it feels like you'll have the same dynamic as 2020 where there's a clown car of centrists but this time without someone like Biden who can clear the field.
