And the government was so scared of upsetting the bigots that the small number of children who did come here came on condition that UK Jews covered the costs.

It wasn't. It was the very definition of a hostile environment for refugees.

This report feels quite toothless and underwhelming. The takeover in only a little over a decade of most Vet practices by these large groups has caused massive price rises. Can't think of any comparable sector that has seen such enormous rises in consumer bills (63% higher than in 2016).
