Were I not a town planner I like to imagine myself as The Times’ Chief Football Writer and to indulge that fantasy I write a match report on Instagram after every game that I have been to, this compilation of which tells the story of my 2024/25 season.

Agree NDMP, national scheme of delegation, deal with the ambiguity between utility regimes etc etc the practical stuff

The FT is reporting a ‘last-minute’ rewrite of the P&IB ‘to boost growth and patch up the public finances’.

If I wanted to both improve the operation of the planning system and convince the OBR that I was improving the operation of the planning system I would focus on NDMPs.
