and BW has hordes of weird little inconsistencies and missing shortcuts and ones that work in only some contexts where you're clicked on one panel instead of the other, and some shortcuts that commonly interact where one will invalidate the context so the other one can't work. sigh.

i have the wonderful curse of being able to find UX weirdness in pretty much any program in like, no minutes. i would confidently take any job interview that stipulated "you must find something wonky with our UX in under 10 minutes" and rock out of there with 9 minutes to spare

i love #bitwig in so many ways but it seems pretty clear that either they have nobody on staff who actually uses keyboard shortcuts or they have exactly one person who has helped mold their shortcuts system to fit his/her exact usage pattern and they haven't spent much time thinking about others

I'll say it: I think its rly annoying and frankly amateurish that writers are constantly told their villains must be understandable or have sympathetic motivation to be interesting or realistic when all our big villains irl are in fact rich, stupid, selfish, trickster dillweeds and always have been
