Dick Cheney did more than anyone else to build up expansive and destructive executive branch powers in the wake of 9/11; he lived to see another president turn those same powers against his own daughter.

He should be a warning sign to the GOP today but too many of them are in the cult.

Finally the voice of reason. AOC in a video explains that MTG has not changed a bit and is on a revenge mission against Trump as she wanted to run for Senator and was denied the nomination. That now makes perfect sense.

We have a $14B surplus… We aren’t bailing out Washington, we’re bailing out Georgians. 1 in 8 Georgians are on SNAP. ATL is the world’s busiest airport. We have some of the lowest literacy rates in the country. If this isn’t a rainy day, what is?

Wow: @ajc.com's Lautaro Grinspan reports that in just one week in October, ICE spent nearly $950,000 on ads in Atlanta — more spending than in any other U.S. city.

That amount would've been enough to provide SNAP benefits for over 20,000 Atlantans every month.

Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.
